Privacy Policy for Grandma’s Recipe Pantry

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry is developed and provided by Tber OÜ, an Estonian company.

We designed Grandma’s Recipe Pantry with privacy in mind. The app does not require a user account, does not contain advertising or tracking, and does not use third-party analytics, AI services, or external backend services.

Information Stored by the App

Recipes, recipe details, categories, photos, and other content you add to Grandma’s Recipe Pantry are stored locally on your device.

Tber OÜ does not operate a server or database that receives or stores your recipe collection.

If you delete the app, locally stored app data may also be deleted in accordance with iOS behavior and your device settings.

Camera and Photos

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry may request access to your device’s camera or photos when you choose to scan a recipe, photograph a recipe, or add an image.

Camera and photo access is used only to provide these features.

Tber OÜ does not receive or store your photos or camera content on its servers.

You can manage camera and photo permissions at any time in your device’s iOS Settings.

Speech Recognition

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry uses Apple’s Speech Recognition technology to convert speech from cooking-related content into editable text.

Where supported, speech recognition may be performed on the device. In some circumstances, Apple’s Speech Recognition service may require audio data to be sent to Apple for processing.

This processing is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple’s applicable privacy practices and terms.

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry requests permission before using Apple’s Speech Recognition functionality. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device’s iOS Settings.

Tber OÜ does not operate a speech-recognition server and does not receive or retain audio sent to Apple’s Speech Recognition service.

Reminders

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry may request access to Apple Reminders when you choose to add recipe ingredients to a shopping list.

Reminders access is used only to create the reminders you request.

Tber OÜ does not receive or store the contents of your Reminders.

You can revoke access to Reminders at any time through your device’s iOS Settings.

Sharing

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry includes an iOS Share Extension that allows you to send supported content from other apps to Grandma’s Recipe Pantry.

Content you choose to share with the app is used to provide the requested recipe-related functionality. Tber OÜ does not operate an external server that receives this content.

Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.

Tber OÜ does not use the app to track you across apps or websites and does not sell your personal information.

Third-Party AI and Backend Services

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry does not send your recipes or other app content to third-party artificial intelligence services or to a Tber OÜ backend for processing.

The app relies primarily on processing performed on your device and on Apple-provided system frameworks and services where required for specific features.

Data Collection by Tber OÜ

Tber OÜ does not collect personal data through Grandma’s Recipe Pantry for advertising, profiling, analytics, or tracking purposes.

Certain Apple system services used by the app may process information as necessary to provide their functionality. Those services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy practices.

Children’s Privacy

Grandma’s Recipe Pantry is not designed to collect personal information from children. Tber OÜ does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Your Choices

You control access to privacy-sensitive device features such as the camera, photos, speech recognition, and Reminders.

These permissions can be reviewed or changed through your device’s iOS Settings.

Because Tber OÜ does not maintain user accounts or a server-side database containing your recipe collection, Tber OÜ generally has no remotely stored recipe data to access or delete on your behalf.

You can delete locally stored app content from within the app where supported or by removing the app from your device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Grandma’s Recipe Pantry changes or new features are introduced.

Any updated version will be made available through the app’s privacy policy page, with the effective date updated accordingly.
